K. J. Baker has been writing since his college days. No subject is off limits. His poems reflect his journey through nature, romance, loss, humorous escapades and more. In the 1970's, he published
in anthologies, recently in several online journals. With a bachelor's in anthropology, he’s
always spies on our cultural mores and likes to write about them. At times serious, at times funny, even sarcastic,
he appeals to the eclectic reader. He's an avid camper, a nature lover and a city dweller, who now lives in Portland, Oregon. After a long career in computers, he devotes much time
to writing and traveling.
He reads publicly from time to time.
For A Flower
for a flower
weeping,
sagging,
hang the tears
of the twilight.
